Montclair State University: Where Veterans Earn Their Degree

Located just minutes outside New York City, Montclair State University is a great place for any veteran in the
region to utilize their GI Bill Benefits. Founded in 1908, the school is quickly becoming an attractive location for
students to earn their degree, as it is now the fastest growing school in the state of New Jersey offering more than
250 majors, minors and concentrations. And as a proud participant of the Yellow Ribbon Program, the university
looks to welcome all veterans and their loved ones to their campus.

Montclair State Unviersity strives to make the transition from combat to the classroom as smooth as possible. The
University's office of Veteran and Military Resources, in the Center for Advising and Student Transitions, provides
current and prospective service members with the tools they need to succeed. From application to graduation, the
office of Veteran and Military Resources takes a proactive approach to the educational process and helps
students connect with the necessary campus and off-campus resources, as well as other service members.
